What. A. Week. A Note from Jody is back after summer vacation and with a bang! The Giving Grid program has been featured on at least 2 Spokane television stations (KHQ and KXLY), Spokane Public Radio, and it’s on the fall cover of Direct, the Washington State School Directors’ Association’s news magazine. I love this program, and we love partnering with Zero Emissions Northwest and the WSU Extension Energy Program to make these projects possible. We’re coming up on the first year of annual reporting, and we’ll share with you the various ways schools are using the energy savings to make a difference
for their students.
We’ll also be talking with legislators around the state this fall about the importance of continuing the Community Solar program as well as sharing ideas on how to maximize the impact for our rural schools and communities. Here’s to football, fall colors, hot cider, pumpkin cookies…and lots of rain.
