Partners for Rural Washington is following the latest actions of the Trump Administration closely today as federal funding plays a huge role in the infrastructure and facilities work we do with rural communities across the state. Freezing federal funds for already awarded projects will have a devastating ripple effect as these funds all transform in some way and at various levels into paychecks for people across Washington and the country. Numerous elected officials and other leaders around the state are actively working on this situation. PRWA will be prepared to pivot its fundraising efforts as needed over the next 30-60 days to assist our rural Washington communities with the repercussions.
